For those Do-It-Yourselfer’s out there who prefer to wrangle their own rubbish into a bin, our self service option is a perfect solution for you. Rent a dumpster or bin from us, and we’ll pick it up whenever you’re ready. This option works great for commercial sites too! Our self service disposal option has 4 simple steps:

1Choose a size. We have a variety of sizes for disposal bins, from small to extra-large. View our bin sizes here.

2Disposal bin delivery. We’ll deliver your disposal bin to your location. All of our bins are driveway friendly. We also use landing pads to ensure your property will not be damaged. For special scenarios, where the bin needs to be relocated, we can move it for a reasonable fee.

3Fill up your junk bin. Our disposal bins are user-friendly, they feature full swing doors with secure locking mechanisms. Our typical rental period is 5 days. However, we offer a discount of 10% off the total price if only needed for 2 days.

4Pick-up & haul your junk. When the bin is ready, let us know and we’ll come pick it up. Our skilled drivers will haul your disposal bin and you don’t have to lift a finger. Out of site, out of mind.

Our prices are all inclusive.

Removing your junk doesn’t have to be complicated. At Student Works Disposal we offer all inclusive rates with no hidden costs. We take the extra care in separating and sorting your junk, but there are certain items that require a recycling fee, i.e. paint, televisions, mattresses, etc. When we arrive onsite for the quote, you will be informed of any additional surcharges due to municipal regulations.

Full Service

Our full service option allows you to sit back and relax while we take care of the dirty work. We can give job estimates over the phone, but official quotes will be given on-site with no obligation to use our services. Price is determined by the items being removed, difficulty of loading, and total volume. Once we’ve had a look at the job, we can provide a firm price for hauling your rubbish.

Curbside Service

If you’re feeling sprite, we’ll give you a discount! Move your rubbish within 10 feet of your curb and we’ll knock-off $5-$10 per cubic yard. Keep your wallet fat and your legs in shape!

Self Service

Our bin rentals start @ $199 including dump fees! (certain limitations apply). Our 7 – 30 cubic yard disposal bins include a 5-day rental period. Receive 10% off if only rented for 2 days.

Depending on your location and materials removed we can offer you the most competitive rates around (please give us a call for more information). We have teamed up with a LEED (leadership in energy & enviromental design) compliant facility, allowing us to have competitive prices and recycle even more.

We also offer discounted rates for short term bin rental periods for the fast and effective home owner:

  • 12 cubic yard bin $299 includes 1000kg of waste.
  • 16 cubic yard bin $349 includes 1250 kg of waste
  • 20 cubic yard bin $399 includes 1500 kg of waste

Student Works Disposal and Recycling  was created by Johnson Phan who was attending BCIT at the time. In an effort to find a part-time job Johnson stumbled upon a business venture idea. He noticed there were too many waste disposal companies in the market neglecting most important aspect of their service – recycling! That’s why Student Works Disposal was started, to give students a flexible opportunity to make money while doing some good for the environment.

We all know that material that ends up in the landfill just gets buried over and sits there for thousands of years. One of the most effective ways to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the landfill is to recycle it. That is our mission, we want to take your waste and dispose of it in a sustainable manner. We have found that more than half of household waste can be recycled and all it takes is a little heart for the environment.

We believe that the time we spend sorting your garbage is more than worth it for the environment. The students that we work with share our passion for recycling and are not afraid of getting a little dirty!
